At that time Pastor Don was the senior pastor of a very successful denominational Church in Canton, Ohio. However, Don was so ill that he could barely function. After his retirement from the Church he then founded the Total Living Center which provides food, clothing and basic medical attention to the less fortunate. The day that Hank Williams Sr. died, he was on his way to perform in Canton, Ohio. The historic Palace Theater was sold out, but Hank would not be there. That was the day that Eddy Wayne, a long time friend of Hank’s, received the call that informed him of Hank’s tragic death and then asked Eddy to do the show that day in Hank’s absence. Eddy was a well established Country singer and could play the guitar with the best. In fact, he had filled in with Hank’s group in the past. As the years went by Eddy gave his heart to Christ and he began to sing for Jesus. The radio program, Eddy Wayne Sings has been on the air for nearly 30 years. In our daily format we feature programs archived from the days when Eddy’s precious wife Pat ministered with him. Now in his 80’s and Pat has gone on to her Heavenly reward but Eddy is going on for Jesus. In addition to these daily archives Eddy still produced a weekly program heard on many radio stations. 50’s Gospel
There is a demographic in America today which will always stand (at least emotionally) to attention when they hear the 50s sound of the music which they grew up with. Today many Artists realize that and as a result they have re-written lyrics which provide a Christian meaning to the songs a generation is always hungry to hear. There just is not an abundance of this style of music, but for what is out there we are working at assembling a library for our listeners. The Gary Herndon Show
Gary is a Southern Gospel singer and song writer. When he was growing up Gary was raised in a Baptist family that sang together. When his father passed away unexpectedly it came as a shock to everyone. The kids all grew up and they rarely sing as a family anymore, but Gary has continued in his music ministry. Gary is actually a school teacher by occupation, but Gary is in high demand for his singing talent. He sounds a great deal like Squire Parsons and enjoys singing the music of the late Rusty Goodman. Gary’s most popular original song is called, “I’ve been saved!” The Gary Herndon radio program features Gary and his most popular recordings.

There was a time when you could find Brother Bill Main in a lot of places, but none of them were on the Radio preaching the Gospel. He was a drunk, living on skid row in Los Angeles for seven years. Most people would have considered him hopeless. It was in a store front mission that he first met Jesus, but ultimately he met a woman who led him to Jesus. Brother Bill calls her his Angel but her real name is Sharon and they have been happily married for nearly 30 years. Now Bill is an Ordained Minister and shares the Word in Music through his own Radio program heard on the Faith Ministry Radio Network. By the Way, Bill was 86 years young when he launched this unique program!
